Postdoctoral Medical and Clinician Scientists in Reproductive Research at the Junior Scientist Research Centre ‘ReproTrack.MS’.

Subject to approval and allocation of funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Junior Scientist Research Centre ‘ReproTrack.MS’ in Münster (Germany) is seeking to employ

  • 5 Medical Scientists (with a degree in Biology, (Bio)Informatics, Chemistry, Physics, or similar)
  • 2 Clinician Scientists (during medical residency)
  • 3 Advanced Clinician Scientists (after completion of residency)

full-time starting by 1 January 2024 and initially limited to 3 years (with the possibility for extension). All applicants must hold a PhD or Medical Doctorate.

ReproTrack.MS is embedded in a well-established academic and clinical landscape for cutting-edge translational reproductive research on the basic principles of reproduction as well as pathomechanisms of infertility and comorbidities, with a particular focus on the male. In addition to an ideal environment for reproductive research, ReproTrack.MS offers a structured training programme, aiming to cross barriers between disciplines as well as basic and clinical science, provide interdisciplinary scientific and clinical education, and deliver hands-on guidance in career development and leadership.

Within the framework of ReproTrack.MS, Clinician Scientists can continue their medical residency. The Medical Board (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe) has agreed to count up to 12 months of research time towards the five-year term of medical training in either Genetics, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, or Urology. Advanced Clinician Scientists are encouraged to proceed their specialist training in ‘Andrology’ (for urologists, endocrinologists or dermatologists) or ‘Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine’ (for gynaecologists).
